Customer demographics and data

First and foremost, your data may be used to provide information back to you, for your own use. We offer data analysis services, bringing you new information to help you enhance the management of your practice.

We may use it to offer you services designed to improve your efficiency or your cash flow. We will not sell or otherwise provide your data to other companies.

Patient data

All patient information, such as claims, explanation of benefits, eligibility, and other reports are strictly confidential. Access to them is restricted to the patient's own provider office and to the insurer. Our staff, who have signed and are legally bound to the Gateway EDI Inc. Code of Ethics, may access these records upon your request for help in transmitting or processing the data.

Data security

In order to protect the security of data, both yours and that of your patients, we do require that you use a 128-bit encryption capable browser. Click here for more information.

Cookies

Our server will send small files of information, called cookies, for storage on your computer's hard drive. These are solely for the purpose of identifying you to our server to enhance both security and your convenience in not having to re-enter your identifying information each time you go to a new page.
