Tim joined the start-up Office Tech in 1987 and developed it quickly into a profitable small business. Office Tech developed, sold and serviced medical office management software. He had responsibility for sales, software development, customer service and finances.
In 1990, Tim was made President and CEO of the company. In 1992, Tim was responsible for the evolution of the company into an electronic claims clearinghouse service. Subsequently, under Tim’s leadership, the practice management business was sold and Office Tech became Gateway EDI, Inc. The company, in this reinvented mode, has grown spectacularly and become nationally known as a firm able to help providers deal with the complexities of health care reimbursement.
As CEO of Gateway EDI, Tim uses his software development background and extensive knowledge of the health care industry to ensure that the company’s products and services meet the needs of health care providers. He has been visionary in anticipating the direction of the industry and thus the future needs of providers.
Tim is a graduate of Washington University in Saint Louis with a degree in Information Systems.
