Keep in mind that while many codes in ICD-9-CM map directly to codes in ICD-10, in some cases, a clinical analysis may be required to determine which code or codes should be selected for your mapping. Always review mapping results before applying them.

Dr. Jeffrey Rose, Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), Physician Markets
Dr. Jeffrey Rose serves as the chief medical information officer (CMIO) of physician markets. His in-depth knowledge of health information technology and clinical needs enables him to serve our growing provider client base and support the company’s payer-provider connectivity solutions.
Jackie Griffin, Associate Vice President Client Services
Jackie Griffin is an Associate Vice President in Client Services over the training and operational support teams at TriZetto Provider Solutions. The training team is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all training to build the skills of new and existing associates. The operational support teams focus on the overall direction, implementation control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategic objectives. The team’s goal is to increase readiness and decrease the time and resources required to achieve results.
Laura Pazera, ICD-10 Program Manager
As ICD-10 program manager, Laura Pazera leads TriZetto Provider Solutions’ ICD-10 team to prepare the company and its provider clients for the ICD-10 transition. She brings deep experience supporting healthcare organizations on major industry transitions, including ICD-10 and 5010. At TriZetto Provider Solutions, Laura oversees all day-to-day ICD-10 readiness efforts, including operational, IT and system remediation changes to accommodate for ICD-10.
In addition, she connects providers with ICD-10 resources and education, and oversees training efforts to prepare TriZetto Provider Solutions staff to assist customers with their ICD-10 transition.
Laura joined TriZetto Provider Solutions in early 2014. Most recently, she worked as the ICD-10 program manager for Accretive Health, where she drove ICD-10 readiness activities and provided clients innovative tools to help make their transition efforts easier. Her extensive background in health IT also includes roles as senior IT systems analyst for Loyola University Health System and senior healthcare IT consultant for ACS Healthcare Solutions.
Laura is active in a variety of industry associations, including Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
Jennifer Emmons, Manager of Operational Support
As a manager of operational support, Jennifer Emmons supports TriZetto Provider Solutions’ ICD-10 team. In this role, she helps prepare our company and our clients to implement ICD-10. Her responsibilities include overseeing operational changes to accommodate for ICD-10 and training associates to assist clients with the transition. She also leads a team of technical, data, and system analysts to address the support needs internally and externally for our clients.
In addition, Jennifer supports TriZetto Provider Solutions’ self-test portal, which enables clients to test their 5010 claims to make sure they are ICD-10 compliant. She and her team are responsible for analyzing how providers’ claims perform and report trending data to better prepare our clients for ICD-10. Jennifer also oversees ICD-10 testing for print image and other legacy claim formats.
Jennifer joined TriZetto Provider Solutions in 2007 as a customer service representative and has since served in a variety of roles in leadership both in client service and operational support.
Jennifer is active in a variety of ICD-10 focused industry initiatives, including Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) programs. In addition, she has presented on best practices for revenue cycle management at the Missouri State Medical Association. Jennifer serves as presenter and panelist for our ICD-10 webinars.
Dawn Duchek, Industry Initiatives Coordinator
As industry initiatives coordinator for TriZetto’s Provider Solutions, Dawn Duchek researches health care industry trends and changes that could impact providers. She shares insights with our clients and business partners to help them navigate and stay ahead of industry challenges. Dawn also educates our own internal associates about health care trends to help them better serve our customers.
Melissa Mayer, Business Process Analyst
As a business process analyst, Melissa Mayer supports TriZetto Provider Solutions’ ICD-10 team. In this role, she researches the latest industry information on ICD-10, sharing these insights with clients and business partners to help them prepare for the transition.
Melissa also works with TriZetto Provider Solutions’ IT department and executive leadership team to ensure our organization is ready for ICD-10. This includes preparing our systems and training our own associates about ICD-10, its impact on providers, and how we can support our clients leading up to, during and after ICD-10 implementation.
She joined TriZetto Provider Solutions in 2009 and has since served in a variety of customer service roles. This includes working as a senior executive account manager, where she traveled to her clients’ offices to support their revenue cycle management needs.
Melissa is active in a variety of ICD-10 focused industry initiatives, including CMS and Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) programs. In addition, she has presented on ICD-10 for channel partners and Colorado ICD-10 Training Coalition webinars.
